Memorial Day in The Inland Empire 2015

Memorial Day in The Inland Empire 2015

Memorial Day is a day that most of us have off. Its also a weekend that is filled with fun and many activities. To the men and woman of the armed forces it means so much more. The definition of Memorial day is as follows:

Memorial Day is observed on the last Monday of May. It was formerly known as Decoration Day and commemorates all men and women, who have died in military service for the United States. Many people visit cemeteries and memorials on Memorial Day and it is traditionally seen as the start of the summer season.

So to honor our Vets and active military we will be mixing our veterans events with the other events we normally include in our weekend fun guides.

We are also running a contest post a picture of a veteran event on our facebook page or instagram page using the #inlandempireexplorer and we will pick one winner from each social media site.
