Easter Weekend In The IE 2015

Easter weekend is a great time to have fun and be with friends and families. Here in the IE we have kids hunting for eggs, music, food, vendor fairs and of course a lot of community. So take a look at our list here and find your favorite spot or find a new family tradition.

Apple Valley:

Easter Eggstravaganza – James Woody Community Center April 4th at 9:30

Come out for game booths, bouncers, face painting & good eats. All day wrist bands are only $5 each for more info visit the website

Beaumont:

Egg Hunt – Noble Creek Regional Park April 4th from 9am to 2pm

Come out to 650 W. Oak Valley Parkway in Beaumont for the Egg Hunt & Spring Fling. They will have an egg hunt for all ages and a vendor bazaar for the adults for more info go to the Spring Fling web page.

Chino Hills:

Easter Egg-Citement – Chino Hills Community Park April 4th from 11am to 2pm

Easter Egg-Citement at Chino Hills Community Park from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Craft fair, visits with the Easter Bunny and more. See site for egg hunt schedule.

Corona:

Free Movie – Dos Lagos Luxury Theatres April 4th at 9am

Join Dos Lagos Luxury Theatres for their Saturday free movie! Get in the Easter spirit with the modern Easter classic, HOP. Blending state-of-the-art animation with live action, Hop tells the comic tale of Fred, an out-of-work slacker who accidentally injures the Easter Bunny and must take him in as he recovers. As Fred struggles with the world’s worst house guest, both will learn what it takes to finally grow up. Doors open at 9:00 a.m. After the film head over to the Dos Lagos Children’s Play Area and meet the Easter Bunny on his last day at the shopping center and enjoy additional activities for the kids.

Family Event – Spring Family Fun Event April 4th Edwards Stadium 18 Theatre from 2pm to 5pm

Join the Crossings at Corona for a day of Spring themed family fun.

Activities will take place near the large fountain in front of Edwards Stadium 18 Theatre and will include:

  • Balloon Artist Clown
  • Face Painting Clown
  • Music
  • Photos with the Easter Bunny

Movie – Sound Of Music Dos Lagos Luxury Theatres April 4th at 8pm

Join Dos Lagos Luxury Theatres as they host their ongoing cinema classics series and feature the 1965 classic, The Sound of Music. Starring Julie Andrews, this classic film tells the story of a young woman leaves an Austrian convent in the 1930’s to become a governess to the children of a Naval officer widower. Tickets are $5

Fontana:

Cars & Stars – Car Show at the Auto Club Speedway April 4th from 9am to 4pm

Head out to the Auto Club Speedway in Fontana and enjoy food trucks, vendors, raffle prizes, kids zone and cars. All Proceeds to benefit Sheriff’s Employee Assistance Team (SEAT) for more information go to www.sbseat.orsweb.net

Pancake Breakfast – Don Day Neighborhood Center April 4th from 8am to 12pm

Come out to the Don Day Neighborhood Center for a fun filled day of Games, Jumpers, Train Rides, Face Painting, Crafts, Police & Fire, Egg Hunts, Healthy Fontana, Pictures with the Easter Bunny & a FREE Pancake Breakfast from 8am to 9:30am provided by Great Commission Baptist Church. Easter Egg-Citement & Open House – Jessie Turner Center April 4, 2015 10:00 am – 12:00 pm

This family event will include carnival games, inflatable jumpers, arts & crafts, face painting, music and giveaways. Guests will also have the opportunity to view demonstrations from center classes and receive program information. Don’t miss out on all the fun at the Jessie Turner Health & Fitness Community Center. Lake Elsinore:

Join in the hunt at 10 a.m. sharp as kids ages 1 to 8 years try to find their share of 8,000 candy stuffed eggs. Visit the Children’s Fair after the hunt from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. for free activities, live entertainment, bouncers and food vendors. Mad Hatter Tea Party – Victoria Gardens April 4th from 10am to 1pm

Children are invited to join the Victoria Gardens Kidz Club for a trip down the rabbit hole, at a special Mad Hatter Tea Party event on Saturday, April 4, from 10:00am until 1:00pm in Victoria Gardens’ Chaffey Town Square. This whimsical event will celebrate the arrival of the man of the season, The Bunny, including special appearances from his friends Alice and the Mad Hatter! A special area will be set up at the event, where parents will be invited to take a keepsake photo of their children with The Bunny, using their own cameras (no professional photographer will be present). This is a free, ticketed event for children ages 3 to 12 years old. Tickets are available on a first come, first serve basis at Victoria Gardens Guest Services office, starting Friday, March 20th.

Rialto:

Eggstravaganza – Rialto Easter Egg Hunt at  The Civic Center April 4th from 11am to 2pm

The City of Rialto invites you to the Spring Eggstravaganza. The Spring Eggstravaganza will be Saturday, April 4 from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm at the Rialto Civic Center located at 150 So. Car Show – Family Classic Car Night at the Yucaipa Valley Center April 4th from 6pm to 9pm 

Past Pleasures Car Club will be holding their first monthly car show of 2015 on April 4th. Come out to see cars, hear music, 50/50 raffle and more. Event is FREE to enter your car or attend as a spectator. No Alcohol and only pre 1980’s vehicles. For more info go their the Car Show website.
