Inland Empire Tourism Council Kicks Off New Campaign

(Upland, CA) The Inland Empire Tourism Council has contracted IEShineOn.com to take over previous marketing campaign DiscoverIE.

In 2012, DiscoverIE was launched as the marketing campaign for Southern California’s Inland Empire Tourism Council (IETC), the official State of California tourism promotion and destination marketing organization for the region in partnership with Visit California.

“We are so excited for this opportunity. The IEShineOn.com mission is to inform those who live, work and play in the Inland Empire about the best events, attractions and things to do in the region,” said Su Pak Founder and President of IEShineOn.com, “Now our added responsibility is to market the region to domestic and international travelers.  We are honored and excited for the challenge.”

IEShineOn.com “The Inland Empire Good Time Guide” ™ is a lifestyle website sharing the best events, attractions and things to do in the region. With an events calendar, daily published features and guides sharing the best of the region, along with a digital coupon section, the website encourages exploration for the region and strives to change, what some may consider, to be a negative connotation of the Inland Empire.

“With our brand’s bright look and feel and fun content, our goal has always been to portray the Inland Empire in a fun light and change the way it is perceived by some – the region has a lot to offer and it is full of diversity and culture,” said Pak.

In the upcoming weeks, IEShineOn.com will be working with the IETC Board of Directors, community partners and stakeholders and Visit California to develop a strategy for 2017/2018. Immediate updates include IEShineOn.com website updates and redirecting the DiscoverIE website and social media to IEShineOn.com. More updates will be revealed first quarter of 2017.

Established in 1988, Inland Empire Tourism Council is a 501(C)6 membership organization comprised of the region’s tourism-related businesses, associations, and local governments.
