RVN ’69 Vietnam-era immersive festival – Crossroads Riverview Park November 21st & 22nd
RVN ’69 is more than just a reenactment or airsoft event. It is a multi-sensory immersive experience of the Republic of Viet Nam in 1969. Hack through the jungle hunting for Charlie. Kick back for some R&R, cold beer and Vietnamese food. Surround yourself with period vehicles and billboards, and the sound of classic 60s rock & Motown. Tree lighting ceremony – The Shoppes At Chino Hills November 21st 7pm
The Shoppes At Chino Hills beginning at 6 p.m. First 2,000 get free Santa hats, ceremony begins at 7 pm. Santa will arrive aboard a fire engine at 7 p.m. down Main Street, led by the Don Hugo High School marching band. The parade happens at 7:50 p.m., along with the lighting of a 35-foot Christmas tree, and musical snow show. The Shoppes at Chino Hills will also be giving away gift bags as part of Black Friday. Festivities begin at 6 a.m. Nov. 29 where the first 300 guests will receive a gift bag, including a Shoppes gift card in varying denominations from $10 – $100, plus a ticket to spin the “Wheel of Holiday” to win even more merchant and Shoppes gift cards.
