RVN ’69 Vietnam-era immersive festival – Crossroads Riverview Park November 21st & 22nd

RVN ’69 is more than just a reenactment or airsoft event. It is a multi-sensory immersive experience of the Republic of Viet Nam in 1969. Hack through the jungle hunting for Charlie. Kick back for some R&R, cold beer and Vietnamese food. Surround yourself with period vehicles and billboards, and the sound of classic 60s rock & Motown. Costumes are required in this themed festival where everyone is a participant and helps add to the illusion. 11 a.m.- midnight Saturday, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Sunday. CHINO HILLS

Tree lighting ceremony – The Shoppes At Chino Hills November 21st 7pm

The Shoppes At Chino Hills beginning at 6 p.m. First 2,000 get free Santa hats, ceremony begins at 7 pm. Santa will arrive aboard a fire engine at 7 p.m. down Main Street, led by the Don Hugo High School marching band. The parade happens at 7:50 p.m., along with the lighting of a 35-foot Christmas tree, and musical snow show. The Shoppes at Chino Hills will also be giving away gift bags as part of Black Friday. Festivities begin at 6 a.m. Nov. 29 where the first 300 guests will receive a gift bag, including a Shoppes gift card in varying denominations from $10 – $100, plus a ticket to spin the “Wheel of Holiday” to win even more merchant and Shoppes gift cards.

Bastille with Ella Eyre & Grizfolk – the Fox Theater Pomona November 21st 8:30pm

On September 15th the English rock band Bastille announced on their official Facebook page that they have added one more concert to their “Bad Blood The Last Stand” tour. The newly added date has the band performing in Pomona, Calif. on Nov. 21 at the Fox Theatre. The Fox Theater Pomona at 8:30 pm Tickets are $37 at the door for the all-ages show.
