Christmas is so close you can smell it in the air. Once again the local cities in the Inland Empire are not letting up offering tons of fun stuff to do and see right here in the IE. There are lots of opportunities to give back to your fellow man while having a nice time. Big Bear:

Santa Claws – Big Bear Alpine Zoo December 14th 11:00am – 2:00pm

Bring the kids to visit the animals and stop by and visit Santa Claws. Santa Claws will be at the Zoo for three Saturdays in December 6th, 13th and 20th. Meet Santa – Christmas in the Village with Santa and Mrs. Claus December 14th 10:00am – 4:00pm

There’s no better place in Southern California to spend Christmas than in the snow in Big Bear! Big Bear celebrates Christmas in the village every year with Santa Claus every weekend leading up to Christmas. Santa waits at his Christmas hunt near the tree lot to visit eager children from 10:00am to 4:00pm every Saturday and Sunday.

Hesperia Chamber of Commerce is celebrating tradition at the “Rockin Christmas” themed mixer on Friday December 12th at the Percy Bakker Center. The Annual Mixer is attended by approximately 200 people and helps support our Education, Leadership, Promotion, and Networking initiatives.

Every year in December we host candy making demonstrations to the public and by Group Appointment. Come and see the craftsmanship and care we put into all of our handmade, gourmet candies. Festival of Lights – Mission Inn Now thru January 8th

Visit the Historic Mission Inn in downtown Riverside’s 19th annual Festival of Lights. The Mission Inn comes alive during the holiday season with over 3.6 million twinkly and magical lights. But the twinkly lights are not all that the Mission Inn and Downtown Riverside provides! There are also live entertainment, horse drawn carriages, outdoor skating rink, plenty of treats and even Santa and his reindeer makes this Christmas experience one your kids won’t soon forget!

Holiday Parade & Fair – Perris Hill Park December 13th 12pm

This event starts with a holiday fair then ends with a parade.
