The National Weather Center has in there long range forecast that there is a good chance that the Inland Empire Mountains will have a White Christmas. It’s not every year that we see a white Christmas in our mountains so the thought of the cold white stuff coming in just in time for Jolly Old Saint Nick.
So we have snow, Christmas and families off for the holiday break that can mean only one thing……. Snow play!!!!!!!!
So here is our list of fun stuff to do while everyone is on winter break:
Alpine Zoo
BBAZ opened in 1959 and has been saving animals since then. Most of the animals in our zoo are the ones that have been injured or impacted by humans and cannot be released back into the wild. Currently located on 2.5 acres, guests will enjoy a close-up and personal experience with our animals. We offer enrichment talks every day at 12, 1, 2, and 3 PM. Snowdrift Snow Tubing Park
Conveniently located in the San Bernardino National Forest where families and people of all ages can enjoy clean mountain air and have a great time. We offer snowy slopes for downhill rides on individual snow tubes that are specially designed with a belly strap and handles. Big Bear Snow Play
Big Bear Snow Play offers world-class winter recreation. The Magic Carpet uphill lift is enclosed in Plexiglas to assure guest comfort on those snowy, chilly days. Alpine Slide at Magic Mountain
Our recreation area in Big Bear Lake is home of the world-famous Alpine Slide and is Southern California’s only authentic bobsled experience. We offer family fun activities year round.
