Great Inland Empire Horse Back Riding Opportunities

The Inland Empire is an amazing place where you have access to so many things. One nice part about the Inland Empire is that we haven’t been packed out with as many people like LA & OC. This means we have amazing opportunities to do things like Horseback Riding!!!

Check out the list below of places you can go to ride a horse in the IE!

Sunshine & Daydreams

Sunshine and Daydreams is a local, private horseback riding stable created by Sonja Trefethen in 1990 as an alternative to traditional rent strings. Our barn is located in Norco, Horsetown USA at the edge of the Hidden Valley Wildlife preserve. Sunshine and Daydreams is renowned for it’s specialization in safety and instruction. The majority of Sunshine and Daydreams’ customers are beginners, many of whom have never ridden a horse before, although many advanced riders enjoy learning faster-paced transitions with instruction from the staff. Every rider is individually coached based on their knowledge and practice of correct horseback riding with the purpose of beginning or improving their horsemanship skills.

They offer many different packages and options and cater to riders of all experience levels even beginners.

Baldwin Lake Stables

Situated on the east end of Big Bear Valley, horse riders can connect with the Pacific Crest Trail, a well-maintained flat surface with some moderate climbs. Popular for the last 25 years, the equestrian remote trails at Baldwin Lake Stables offer riders a sense of peace and tranquility with panoramic views of the valley. In fact, many horseback riders compare the trails in Big Bear Valley to parts of Colorado, Wyoming and Northern Arizona.

Gaits In the Grapes Guided Trail Rides

Family owned and operated, Gaits In The Grapes specializes in gorgeous Temecula wine country rides. Here, you’re invited to ride at your own pace and comfort level. One thing is required though: that you hitch up your saddle and experience the unforgettable trails that wind through beautiful vineyards and hillsides of the Temecula wine country. Offering trained staff, the guides can also create custom rides for each guest based on preference. Gaits in Grapes also offers specials with partners who can provide reputable horse boarding, hotels, resorts, vacation rentals, B&B’s, equestrian camping (full hook up & dry), farrier & veterinary care, and more.
