Randy’s Donuts looks to expand to the Inland Empire with a shop in Riverside

It looks like Riverside may be getting a California dream come true: Randy’s Donuts a few steps away from an In-N-Out Burger.

Randy’s Donuts’ website lists 3519 Van Buren Blvd., No. 101, as the site of an upcoming shop. That address is within Magnolia Crossings, a new shopping center bordering the 91 Freeway. In-N-Out opened there last summer.

In an email, the chain confirmed the project but didn’t make any other details available.

Randy’s Donuts began in Inglewood in a 1950s building known for the giant replica of a doughnut on its roof.

The brand has been growing through franchising in recent years, and now has nine locations in Los Angeles and Orange counties. There are also four in South Korea and one in Saudi Arabia.

Locations use big doughnuts in their signage, but most don’t put big doughnuts on top of their buildings.
