Favorite Sweet Spot Stop in the Inland Empire

If there is one thing we all can agree with is that many of us have a well developed sweet tooth! Some of us struggle to control our addiction to sweets while others can have sweets in moderation. If you have been following IE Explorer for a while I (Joel) can go hog wild then spend the next few days eating healthy and drinking green drinks lol.

One thing that became clear while writing and scoring this list was that we have tons of great spots in the IE to grab a good quality sweet treat! Also many of you found new spots you never heard of and have found new favorites from other fan recommendations!!! One of the reasons we keep plugging away at trying to bring you the best of the IE are the fans. You guys and your positive spirit keep us going and that is super sweet!

So moving forward lets showcase how you voted on the top spots to grab a sweet treat:

Number 4

So two locations tied for the #4 spot to grab a sweet treat in the IE and here they are:

Handel’s Ice Cream – With numerous Inland Empire locations and a 4.7 google review with almost 2k reviews its no wonder that they topped out on our list of favorite sweet spots. This one has one stand alone pole position winner. In 2009, Naomi and Melinda—along with the support of their family—opened the doors of this number 2 fan favorite to long lines of eager guests. They were one of the Inland Empire’s first cupcake-only bakeries and have grown to become one of Southern California’s premier go-to cupcake stops, winning numerous awards for innovation and mastering tradition.

  • My Delight Cupcake – Several food and drink blogs, including the popular Foodbeast, have praised My Delight as among their favorite bakeries and drooled over over its funnel cake cupcake. 1520 N Mountain Ave, B108, Ontario, CA, United States, California

Number 1

Now you must be wondering what could top one of the greatest bakeries to ever hit the Inland Empire? Well if you listened to the recent podcast I (Joel) was on you know. One of the oldest and most iconic spots to impact the lives of generations of people in the Inland Empire one sweet treat at a time is the one and only Logan’s Candy. The Logan family first opened their small candy shop in 1933 in Downtown, Ontario California. The shop began out on Euclid Avenue next to the historic Granda Theatre and then moved to its current location on B street in 1953. Jerry Rowley, the shops current owner, started working seasonally at Logan’s at the young age of 12 and continued to work under 3 different owners learning the trade of candy making. At the age of 19, Jerry & his wife, Susi Rowley, took over the store in 1982 and have been running the shop ever since!

  • Logan’s Candy – Logan’s Candies is a family owned establishment which specializes in handmade Candy Canes, Ribbon Candy and Chocolates. 125 W B St, Ontario, CA, United States, California
