2nd Annual Turkey Trot – November 27th 9am

Second annual Turkey Trot through Big Bear with 3, 6 or 9 mile courses beginning at 9 a.m. Costume contests for best bear and turkey, registration is $40-50. Turkey Trot Tradition In anticipation of indulgent Thanksgiving feasts we participate in turkey trots to burn off calories before the big meal. First prize for winning is an actual turkey that the winners can use for his or her family’s Thanksgiving feast. Family Event! The Big Bear Turkey Trot is a great Family Event with fun and festive venue and three race distance options all on the same course making it easy for everybody to participate! Walk, Jog, or Trot! Costume Contest! Come ready to have fun and dressed in your best Bear or Turkey Costume…we’ve got prizes for the best costumes, and the fastest turkey and bear of the day! Pie Eating Contest! Always a crowd favorite, make sure to hang around post race for the Big Bear Pie Eating Contest!

Tree Lighting – Big Bear Village November 28th 5pm

Tree Lighting and celebration of Santa’s arrival at the Village beginning at 5 p.m. Santa arrives in his sleigh and will be visiting on the weekends until Dec. 21st.

Black Friday Adoptions – Corona Animal Shelter November 26th & 29th

The City of Corona’s Animal Shelter is waiving the $15 adoption fee for any animals with black markings as part of “Black Friday Week”. Spay and neuter and licensing fees still apply. Shelter closed 11/27-28.

Rock “n” Remember – M15 Concert Bar & Grill November 28th 7pm

It’s a journey down the soundtrack of your life! Rock N Remember will trace 50 years of rock with three of SoCal’s most killer cover bands. Turkey Trot 5k Run – Claremont College November 27th 6:30am

Claremont Sunrise Rotary annual Turkey Trot 5K and 1K Kid’s Fun Run through the Claremont Colleges and Village area. Pre-registration is $35 for adults, $20 for children under 13, race day registration add $5. Check-in begins at 6:30 a.m., races start at 7:30.

Turkey Trot – Sylvan Park November 27th 7:30am

Redlands Turkey Trot 5K and Kids 1 K Fun Run at Sylvan Park. Kid’s race begins at 7:30 a.m., 5K at 8 a.m. Bring canned food for Inland Harvest and get $5 discount on registration – kids regular admission is $20, general is $35. Proceeds benefit Phoenix Hope International and Redlands Educational Partnership Foundation.

Theatre Production – Life House Theatre November 29th to December 30th

“It’s A Wonderful Life!” at LifeHouse Theater. Tickets are $14-18 for adults, $7-9 for children 3-11, price goes up $1 day of show. See website for performance schedule.
