When it comes to the 4th of July, residents and visitors of the Inland Empire have a multitude of exciting events and activities to choose from. From dazzling fireworks displays to patriotic parades, here are some of the top 4th of July events in the Inland Empire.

Join the City of Beaumont as we light up the sky in celebration of America’s birthday! The annual Freedom Festival held on Tuesday, July 4, 2023, is an all-day event featuring food, fun, and free entertainment at Beaumont’s downtown Stewart Park. From a family-friendly tailgate zone to a block packed with local vendors to entertainment and a breathtaking fireworks display – the celebration has something for everyone!

Event areas:
Market Night & Kids Zone – Local food and merchandise vendors along with children’s activities hosted by Venture Church will be located on 10th Street from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Skate Park – The skate park is open to BMX bikes, skateboards and scooters until 3:45 p.m.
Tailgate Zone – Vehicles, BBQing and socializing are welcome in the northernmost section of the park located near 11th Street.
Entertainment – Concerts take place near 9th Street & Maple Avenue. Guests are encouraged to bring chairs, blankets and shade canopies.

Immanuel Baptist Church is honored to host the annual Highland Community Fireworks Celebration on July 4th!

Murrieta

Murrieta as the city combines pre-Independence Day festivities with a 32nd “Birthday Bash” for the municipality, which was incorporated in 1991.Murrieta officials have planned an outdoor concert, food vendors, a kids’ play zone and fireworks set to music in the park as nightfall reaches California Oaks Sports Park.

Come join us at Calvary Presbyterian Church on the 4th of July. We’re hosting a 4th of July FESTIVAL with food trucks, games, face painting, music, and a view of the Mt. Rubidoux Fireworks (starting at 9 pm) from our back parking lot. Gates for the festival open at 6:30 pm and everything is FREE but the food trucks. Food trucks will have shredded beef tacos, burritos, tostadas and tortas. And churros, desserts and agua frescas (drinks). Bring a lawn chair and water. NO ALCOHOL OR PETS ALLOWED. Park in the front lot and walk in through the archway. ALL ARE WELCOME.

FOURTH OF JULY SPECTACULAR

Come celebrate our nation’s independence with The City of Riverside Parks, Recreation and Community Services Department! This free event displays a spectacular array of fireworks at two separate locations which include

  • La Sierra Park (5215 La Sierra Ave.)
  • Mt. Rubidoux (4706 Mt. Rubidoux St.)
    No access will be available at Carlson Dog Park or Mt. Rubidoux after 7 a.m. on July 4.

Shows will begin promptly at 9 p.m. Spectators are encouraged to bring their own blankets and refreshments.

Rialto

Fourth of July Celebration

The City of Rialto 4th of July Celebration will be held on Tuesday, July 4, 2023 at Jerry Eaves Park. The event will have many activities and games to participate in, some activities require the purchase of a wristband and other activities are completely free. The event will have various vendors including food.
The Smooth Groove Band will be playing during the event, and we will end the evening with a choreographed fireworks show to end our celebration.
$25 Pre-Sale bundle is available now for purchase. Ticket includes ONE RESERVED PARKING PASS, and 5 wristbands. Bundle price goes up the day of the event to $30. 4th of July Extravaganza: Parade & Fireworks – TUE, JUL 4, 2023

Begin your morning with spirited marchers and patriotic entries at the 4th of July Parade in Old Town! In the afternoon, head over to the sports park to enjoy live music, vendors and a fun zone for the kids. End the celebration with the spectacular fireworks display.

Parade: 10am Start • Old Town Temecula
The parade will begin at 10am sharp at the intersection of Old Town Front & 2nd Streets. All entries will travel north on Old Town Front St. and end just before Moreno Road. We are no longer accepting entries for the parade.

On Tuesday, July 4th, the following road closures will be taking place:

  • Second Street, Stampede parking lot, Old Town Front Street from First Street heading north to Third Street will be closed from 6am-12pm
  • Old Town Front Street will remain open to Third Street, with access from the north until 9am*
  • Old Town Front Street will be closed to all traffic from 9am-12pm
  • Moreno Road will be closed from 10am-12pm
  • Mercedes St will be closed for north bound traffic from 9:45am-12pm
  • *Spectators can access the Parking Garage from the north entrance of Old Town

Additional Road Closure:

  • East side of Main Street from Old Town Front Street to bottom of the ‘Y’ will be closed from Monday, July 3rd at 12pm to Tuesday, July 4th at 3pm
